black and green tea, cocoa, cola soft drinks, and energy drinks.
2. Alcohol, nicotine, and caffeine are the most consumed psychotropic drugs
locally.
3. People with alcohol problems often drink alone and say they use alcohol to
help them sleep or deal with stress.
4. Alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine are commonly consumed which affects to the
person’s mental health substances, exhibiting varying levels of addictiveness
while lacking the social stigma associated with the consumption of illicit drugs.
5. Nicotine is the main addictive chemical in tobacco. It causes a rush of
adrenaline when absorbed in the bloodstream or inhaled via cigarette smoke.

GAD Integration The use and abuse of caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol can be considered a shared
responsibility due to their potential effects on individuals and society. Caffeine, tobacco,
and alcohol can all have negative health effects when used and abused. These
substances can contribute to various health conditions, including cardiovascular
diseases, respiratory problems, liver damage, and certain types of cancer. Individuals
need to be aware of the potential risks associated with the use and abuse of these
substances and make informed choices regarding their consumption. Society also plays a
role in promoting public health and providing education and support for individuals to
make healthier choices.
