Gordon College ZUMBAFEST

Event Details
Date: December 14, 2024
Time: 1pm – 6pm
Location: Marikit Park
Objective: To promote physical activity, teamwork, and fun among Gordon College students
through Zumba.
Theme: Christmas (Embrace the Christmas Spirit)
Registration Fee: Php.300. 00

Participation Criteria:
- Open for all Gordon College students with PATHFit 1 Class
- Students must register per block and there must be at least 25-30 members who will
dance, and the rest of the class will be given a different task.
- Each group must submit their own music on December 7,2024 to the organizers.

Performance Criteria
- Music: must adhere to the criteria and approved by your PATHFit 1Instructor
- Choreography: Create your own proper Zumba routine with warmup and cooldown
- Costume: theme attire
- Duration: exactly 5 minutes

Judging Criteria
- Execution 25%: Synchronization between the dancers
- Choreography 25%: Original choreography, formations, and style
- Energy 20%: strong or weak energy
- Overall impact 10%: cheers
- Mastery 10%: mastery of the steps
- Costume and props 10%: Creativity and adherence to the theme

Performance Rules/Guidance:
- No lifting and acrobatics
- Music must not have profanity words
- Order of performance will be based on the number they picked.
- Props and accessories are allowed, it must be from recyclable materials, and the
following are prohibited: confetti, flammables, sharps and pointed materials.
- Outside choreographers are not allowed inside the school during practices and to
teach/coach on the performance day.
- Failure to follow the said rules will deduct 1 point per violation on the final score.
