BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION: Bring all box tops in this week - they must be mailed off
by the first of March. Turn in to Ms. King or put in the PTO mailbox. Be sure names are on the bags. Teachers- turn in the names of the top two donations for prizes at the end of the school year.
**Take Stock in Children Mentoring & Scholarship Program: Admission applications for 8th & 9th
grade students are now available from Mr. Robinson or Ms. Cathy Carroll in the FCS Guidance office. Completed applications are to be placed in Dr. Catlins mailbox in the FCS front office. The deadline for submission is March 5, 2012.
FCAT Writing Camp for 4th Grade will be held on Saturdays, 9:00am to 12:00 Noon, on Feb. FCAT Reading and Math/Science Camps for grades 3-5 will also be held on Saturdays,

**Bids for Lawn Service: Franklin District School Board is requesting bids for lawn maintenance & grass cutting.
Go to www.franklincountyschools.org for details. Deadline for submitting bids Feb. 29, 2012.
GED CLASSES
GED Classes have started back at Franklin County School.
Classes will be on Mondays & Tuesdays from 4:00-8:00pm. Register with Ms. Linda Bradley during class hours in the 1100 Building, Room 1111. The next GED Test will be given Feb. 27 & 28, 2012 at the Franklin County School library at 6:00pm. To register for the test contact Maxine Creamer @ 670-4481. The Franklin County Adult Education Courses do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, National origin, age, handicap, or marital status.
**The Federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act states that children & youth who lack a
fixed, regular, & adequate nighttime residence are considered homeless. If, due to a loss of housing, a child must live in a shelter, motel, vehicle, campground, on the street, in abandoned buildings, or doubled-up with relatives or friends, then he/she is eligible to receive services provided under the McKinney-Vento Act.
