Personal Development PT 1
1. Share an experience that clearly illustrates a change in your cognitive ability, comparing
how you thought as a child and how you currently think as an adolescent. Make a
creative presentation such as song, drawing, or poem to establish the connection
between the thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and actions of a person. Provide an
explanation on the line provided.
The experience
As a child, I always worried about what people would think of me. I would
second-guess my choices, afraid of making mistakes. But as I grew older, I
realized that life is unpredictable and sometimes messy, but that doesn’t
mean I should hold back. I began to understand that it’s okay to stumble, it’s
okay to take risks, and it’s okay to not have all the answers. As an adolescent, I
now live life with a sense of confidence, embracing challenges and embracing
the unknown. I’ve learned that life is for living—no matter the obstacles that
come my way, I’ll keep moving forward and growing.
Creative Presentation
‘’Living Boldly"
As a child, I lived in fear,
Worried what others might think or hear.
Every step was careful, slow,
Afraid of the path I didn’t know.
But now as I stand, I’ve learned to see,
Life’s too short to live in uncertainty.
I won’t wait for the world to align,
I’ll walk my path, make it mine.
I’ll stumble, I’ll fall, but that’s okay,
I rise again, stronger each day.
No more hiding, no more doubt,
I’ll chase my dreams, and I’ll shout out.
The road is long, but I’ll move ahead,
With every step, no fear or dread.
For life is a gift, and I’ll take the lead,
Living boldly, embracing each need.
I’ll learn, I’ll grow, and I’ll face the fight,
With courage in my heart and fire in my sight.
No matter the obstacles, no matter the strife,
I’m going to live—this is my life.
__ The poem reflects the journey from a cautious childhood to a confident, fearless adolescence. It
emphasizes how growth happens when we stop letting fear control our decisions and start embracing
life fully. The transition from fear to boldness shows a change in cognitive ability, as the speaker learns
that mistakes are part of life and growth, and that living fully means embracing both the highs and the
lows..
