◼ Snapshots can recorded and displayed the engine operating conditions.
Graph
◼ It shows the value of each service data selected by the graph.
Save
◼ Service data name, parameter name and current value & unit are stored in the file.
Ex) The blue line in the figure shows all cylinder operations.
According to the order, cylinders 1 through 6 are stationary and the ECU estimates the A,B,C,D,E,F
points and displays the graph. If you compare the different lines, you can see that the combustion
of each cylinder is yellow. The cylinder is in bad shape if it is similar to the slope when there is no
tilt of the cylinder
Shut-Off Test
Shut-off test checks deviations of injector states.
Status Box. The contents of the status box are the operational status of the check engine.

Results box. The contents of the box are the output results after the engine test.
Boost pressure actuator Test Procedure.
A. This test can tell the VGT normal operation.
B. Select the boost pressure actuator test.
C. Press the Start button.
D. Enter a value in the 'value' box.
E. Check the VGT shaft with the naked eye.
F. Click Return to ECU.
Important information: If PRV values, Ash and DPF value must be changed, click the button
below. If the button is not clicked after the part has been changed, the ECU will continue to
calculate the limit of the part and there will be three part fault codes.
Transferring files. Install the ECU map file. You can check the installation progress of the program.
Completing the installation (100%). When "Communication end" is displayed, the installation is
completed.
Important information: After confirming the progress of the following conditions, proceed the
reprogramming.
Check that the laptop battery is sufficient.
◼ If the proper transmission of the file fails, the ECU will be damaged or the engine
will no longer be running and then it will need to be replaced.
After starting the NDMS again, you must re-enter the engine number of the ECU and
machine serial using EOL.
Reprogramming Procedure.
Choose map file in the notebook.
When you press the Start version, you can check the progress.

Remote diagnosis adapter (UVIM-W)
Overview
Remote Diagnosis Adapter (uVIM-W) allows you to connect to the WIFI and diagnose the
equipment wirelessly. You can connect USB and diagnose it by wire in the same way as before.
It supports data recording which allows long-term (up to 80 hours) storage of in-vehicle data to
CAN or RS232 communications.
Components
UVIM-W Apdater. You can connect WIFI communication by USB Cable or using wireless AP. Five
LEDs display the current status at the front, allowing you to see the operational status. You can
use the system monitoring/data recording function by "Mode Transition Switch" at the top of the
Adapter.
Micro SD Card. In the Data Recording mode, the equipment data is recorded on the Micro SD
Card. It supports up to 16GB and can be stored up to 7 days, based on 8 hours of work per day.
Cable. Use a 14 pin cable and Mini USB type-B compatible with UVIM-W.
- 14 Pin cable
- Mini USB type-B

Driver Installation
Run "Setup_Jastec_Virtual COM Port_Driver_V1.0.exe" to install the USB driver for UVIM-W, then
Note: If USB port is not recognized as normal, please check the following:
(The USB Driver may not be installed correctly if your operating system is Windows 10.)
Connect the PC and UVIM-W using the Mini USB type-B. When you select the USB port to which
UVIM-W is connected, background color of the combobox changes from white to gray.
WIFI connection
About 30 seconds after UVIM-W is powered on, the WIFI module built into UVIM-W is activated.
This WIFI module can be monitored by multiple PC simultaneously.
At this point, If you click the wireless access icon on the taskbar, you can connect SSID(wireless
network identifier) that appears as "Omega-AXXX". Please contact the person in charge for
security keys for access.
Connection order.
3) After running DMS-5, select "UVIM-W" from the combo box in the
"automatic discovery of equipment" window.
Data recording via UVIM-W
1) After selecting the items to record from the monitoring or graph, press the "Start" button
to see if the data is received normally.
2) Click the "Stop" button and click it when the "Register Recoding Items" button is activated.
