I am an architect student from Aarhus Architect
School in Denmark.
I fnished my Bachelor degree in summer 2011 and
I am currently part way through my Masters: I have
come to London to look for an internship to further
my experience of the industry.
About me and the way I work
Materiality, space, structure and atmosphere are
central to my work.
By focusing on the physical context of space that
relates to human relations and their surroundings,
I believe that the right choice of materials can make a
big difference to the architectural atmosphere.
I have always had a very abstract approach
to architecture; I try to look at things from a
different perspective through experimenting
with the aesthetic qualities of materials.
I often take photos of my work and process them
in Photoshop because it helps me to see things
in a different way. I believe that a photo can often
show details that you normally do not see with the
naked eye.

Storytelling is a natural process in the development
of my ideas. I have read many of Italo Calvinos novel
and short stories and have used them in many of my
projects. Either by making a drawing after a story or
by using the narrative to give the project personality
and imagination.
One of my biggest strengths is my drive and I
always put a lot of energy into my work. I enjoy
working with others; I find the initial phase of a
project exciting because this is where I find my
true inspiration. I often realise that in looking
back at projects I have completed it is in this
process of reflection where I learn the most.
This project was an art project, and had three very important focus points:
1 The site, 2 The 1748 Noli Map and 3 a quote from Calvino.
_6th_semester
The hand made drawing was used as the plan
The 1748 Nolli map.
The process began here. A section from the Nolli map was selected and processed in drawing analogies and digitals.
Two of the many digital drawings.
Two of the hand made drawings.
Section of the site in Rome - The Tiber River
Calvino.
The quote from Trading Cities by Calvino was a big inspiration to my
project.
N ERSLA, TO ESTABLSH THE RELATONSHPS THAT SUSTAN THE CTYS LFE,
THE NHABTANTS STRETCH STRNGS FROM THE CORNERS OF THE HOUSES,
WHTE OR BLACK OR GRAY OR BLACK-AND-WHTE ACCORDNG TO WHETHER
THEY MARK A RELATONSHP OF BLOOD, OF TRADE, AUTHORTY, AGENCY.
WHEN THE STRNGS BECOME SO NUMEROUS THAT YOU CAN NO LONGER PASS
AMONG THEM, THE NHABTANTS LEAVE: THE HOUSES ARE DSMANTLED; ONLY
THE STRNGS AND THER SUPPORTS REMAN.

The physical model has been worked in Photoshop for trying to capture the intension of a vibration room.
The concept was to develop the project through sections. Above is one of the fnal sections.
Location: Achrafeh Beirut Libanon
Achrafeh is one of Beiruts oldest quarters. It is located on a hill
in the eastern part of Beirut.

This project was a simple family house in Rnde, Denmark.
This project was a landscape and urbanism project, where the process was expressed through experiments.
The project was inspired by Paul Klees leaf photo, and the idea expressed that a public space could be viewed,
as how you look at a leaf.
The veins are the imprints (directions) where the public spaces ought to be,
and the leaf itself is the actual place that over time can spread and grow to bigger places.

This project was about building a home for one person.
For the project we had to use the registration, the drawings, photos and movies that were made in Mexico,
a student trip we were on for a month.
I was very inspired by the way Luis Barragn used colors together with light in his work.
_2nd_semester
The workshop in Mexico was about making a model only by folding cardboard.
The red color cheats the mind to believe that the object is made of a different material than it really is.
_1st_semeter_workshop _Mexico
In this workshop we worked with an object that would automatically close around you once you sit in it
and then open up when you are about to leave.

The object had a sensor that could register your moves.

I wanted to capture Aarhus in a different way then you normally see Aarhus
by photographing the details and the materiality around Aarhus Centrum.
Something that you normally dont pay attention to.
