IMPORTANT FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION Rust College NEW Loan Disbursement and Refund Policy EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY LOAN DISBURSEMENTS For students who have less than 30 hours, loans will be disbursed to the College in two equal payments for the fall and spring semesters on the following dates: 2012 Spring Semester 1st payment...January 17, 2012 2nd payment..March 19, 2012 REFUNDS If the student account shows a credit balance after a payment has been applied to the students college expenses (tuition, room and board, etc.), a refund check will then be issued to the student no later than 14 days after the credit balance has been noted. Students MUST be enrolled in at least six hours each module at the time refund checks are disbursed.

Business Week 2012 ~ The Threat to Employment Through Globalization


Alumni and guests speak to students; Dedication of Sheela Bhagat Technology Classroom
The Rust College Division of Business hosted a series of events to inform students of the merits of gaining a business degree. The College welcomed several alumni and guests, who spoke candidly about their various businesses and ways to improve on todays economy and job placement. As part of Business Week, students, faculty and staff gathered to dedicate the new Sheela Bhagat Technology Classroom, established through a contribution to the College by the Bhagat family. The purpose of the classroom is to provide Division of Business students access to state of the art equipment, and to have information presented in a way that is interactive for all students. The classroom will also allow faculty to use software designed to enhance their courses.
Mrs. Sheela Bhagat has taught accounting and finance courses at Rust College since 1980.

ATTENTION SCIENCE MAJORS: $4,000 AWARD AVAILABLE!


UNCF Special Programs Corporation (UNCFSP) will accept applications for the U.S. Army Institute for Surgical Research (USAISR) Summer Internship Program. The application will open until March 16, 2012. Aim of the Project: The goal of the project is to provide undergraduate students exposure to both laboratory and clinical trauma research. The project expose students to: Requirements-driven combat casualty care medical solutions and products for injured soldiers from self-aid through definitive care across the full spectrum of military operation; State-of-the-art trauma, burn, and critical care to the Department of Defense beneficiaries around the world and civilians in their trauma region; and Burn Special Medical Augmentation Response Teams.

Robinson earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rust in 2003, then went on to earn his Masters in Health Carl Robinson, 03, served as keyAdministration. Collins has 25 years of marketing and sales experience in multiple capacities, and currently holds the position of Charity Resource Administrator for American Charities Telesis Services, an International charity resource company based in California. Eleanor Clayborn, Rust class of 1997, is the Microenterprise Coordinator of the Economic Alternatives Program of Sacred Heart Southern Missions, a non-profit organization providing support and services to the economically disadvantaged.

Sandra T. Collins, Rust class of 1994, is a certified public accountant (CPA). She is the Co-Managing Partner of McGee & Collins, LLP and serves as the firm's Partner Eleanor Clayborn inCharge of business operations. McGee & Collins, LLP specializes in providing their clients with professional and personalized service. Samantha L. White is Asst. Vice President/Compliance Officer at the Bank of Sandra T. Collins Holly Springs. She has been employed with the bank for 17 years, hired for a teller position in 1994 and cross-trained in various departments through the years. In 2007, Ms. White completed the Independent Community Bankers of America Compliance Institute (Dallas, Texas) and is certified as a community bank compliance officer. Samantha L. White Gracie Echols, Rust class of 1993, earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Education. Mrs. Echols has been employed with the Institute of Community Services, Inc. (ICS), in Holly Springs for the past ten years, currently working as a Payroll Officer. Prior to this position, Mrs. Echols was the Office Manager for McCandles Physical Therapist Company for five years.
