Where Your Money Goes

Because of K.I.D.S. strong network of product donors, we are able to provide $10 worth of product for every dollar donated.
Financial donations provide funds needed to run the operations of the organization, including primarily costs to get product to the people who need it. While K.I.D.S. operates at a 2.5% overhead rate, rising expenses of shipping, record keeping and agency outreach are factors that have become increasingly more challenging.

Every day 16000 starving children die, thats 1 child every 5 seconds. In places we aided last year we reduced this number to 6000, but thats still not enough with your help we could not only reach a greater area but also decrease the number of deaths in each area. Thats why this year we are teaming up with The Boys and Girls clubs of America to arrange this bi-monthly raffle, and semi-annual telethons. BUT WE CANT DO IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP!

K.I.D.S. was founded in 1985 as a 501(c)(3) corporation to assist children suffering from famine in Ethiopia. Within the first 60 days, members of the children's industry donated $250,000 worth of merchandise. In the first year, K.I.D.S. sent $600,000 worth of clothes, shoes and toys to children in Ethiopia and mudslide victims in South Africa. From the initial efforts of a small group of children's industry leaders, the organization has grown into a global charity dedicated to alleviating poverty conditions among children and assisting in relief efforts following major disasters.
