Aromatherapy - the use of essential oils and other aromatic natural botanical oils for psychological and physical well-being. During this wonderful course, you will be able to experience the following: Smelling different essential oils and learning to distinguish similar aromas Smelling different aromatic plants and oils which come from them How to make a safe blend of oils for massage How to use an aromatherapy diffuser How to use aromatherapy in a bath Experience what different essential oils feel like on the skin

Joy Bowles PhD, BSc Hon, Grad Dip Env Ed has taught the chemistry of essential oils to aromatherapists in Australia and America since 1991. She has also taught at the highly regarded Nature Care College in Sydney and run workshops for the International Federation of Aromatherapists. Joy is the author of a number of texts in Aromotherapy and continues her work looking at how aromatherapy can assist with the management of dementia in people living in aged care facilities. Please Note: There are minimum class numbers required for this course.
