Citypride Multiplex is the pioneer of Multiplexes in Maharashtra. The first Multiplex was started in Pune in 2001. In a span of 10 years it has grown to 5 properties with a total of 20 screens in Pune and also operates 10 single Cinema screens in Tier 2 and 3 cities in Western Maharashtra. It is rated as the leading Multiplex chain in Pune district and its mission is to keep revolutionizing the movie watching experience for its patrons. Challenges With the growing popularity of Multiplexes and a new multiplex mushrooming every month there is a huge demand for the show managers / owners to offer the best service to attract customers and keep them for ever. The overall audience experience includes a variety of elements including speed and ease of booking the tickets, and show timings among others. In such a scenario City Pride was looking for a solution to give their customers the best entertainment experience. The main challenges were:1) To bring speed in transactions for real-time coordination of online and boxoffice booking 2) Make their website available 24/7 3)Inter-office connectivity to monitor the occupancy and collection of each show on a daily basis (for optimum utilization of the facilities) 4) Keep their network safe from hacking and virus attacks Client Background Mainly patterned along the shopping mall model, the Indian multiplex site sports all the features of an up-market turf. The multiplexs steady proliferation in the metropolis and simultaneous penetration into some smaller cities and towns testifies to its increasing popularity, coinciding with the rise of disposable incomes in the hands of the Indian family. The Effective Solution offered After having understood the core concerns of CityPride, Nevales suggested a holistic solution that would address their need for speed, inter-office connectivity and security.

In order to address the concern of speed it was necessary to make the bandwidth free of unwanted traffic. Hence we implemented the Nevales Content Filtering and Bandwidth Management feature by which the usage was monitored and bandwidth allocated for optimum usage. The lowered load resulted in improved speed. This in turn resulted in real-time booking updates between the box-office and on-line booking portals which finally ensured that there are no unsatisfied customers.

The secured connectivity requirement was resolved by providing a virtual private network that connected each multiplex to the head-office. This now helps collection data to be safely accessed by the head-office as and when required. The management monitors this data on a daily basis so that they can reschedule shows as per the popularity of the movie facilitating optimum utilization of the facilities.

The need for speedy and 24/7 connectivity also demands that the system uptime be maintained. The Nevales Firewall, Anti-virus, Anti-spam features were applied to ensure that there is no intrusion, data theft or data loss due to hacking and virus attacks.
