PRAYER AND PRAISE

Pray for Jim Baker's loved ones as they grieve his loss. Please pray that the Lord would bless and empower our Easter weekend outreach. Pray that the Lord will heal and bring complete health to Stella Nobles newest great-grandson. He has two holes in his heart, one being 1cm in diameter ..... which is pretty big for a wee little heart. Please pray for John & Nicolette as well as Colin & Stella. Pray that their weddings would be beautiful and joyous occasions, and that their marriages would be strong, and healthy, and honouring to the Lord. Pray for Gods blessing on evangelism outreaches near Samorogouan, Africa this week. Pray for many people in Burkina who have come to Christ in the past several months. Pray that they will grow in their faith. Many are facing persecution for the decision they have made. Pray that their testimony will lead others to Christ.

Are you new to this facility?

We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that: The toilets are located down the passage to the right as you exit the sanctuary. We have a crche available diagonally from the sanctuary should you wish to take your infant out from the service. The Childrens Ministry begins part way through the service. This is for children between the ages of 3 13 years. Information on who we are, as well as on all of our ministries are available online at www.whac.net.nz Each week, we share a cuppa together after the service, and would love for you to stay for a chat.

NEWS
Holiday Club at WHAC From April 16-20, WHAC will be hosting a holiday club called Pandamania for children in our community. This club takes Psalm 139 as it's theme verse, and communicates over and over again that "God is WILD about you!" through songs and crafts and games and teaching and fun. We are hoping for a large number of children to come, but need lots of volunteer support to make it happen. If you would like to help, please talk to Pastor Matt.

At WHAC, we exist to help people move from brokenness to wholeness in Jesus Christ, and it's our firm belief that that continuing journey, much like our regular lives, has a few important building blocks along the way... First is our birth, or entrance into God's family. Jesus called this being born again, and it's the new start that comes as we ask God to forgive us and to make Jesus the Lord of our lives. As babies in any family, we need love, support, nurture and care. At WHAC, that primarily happens through caring networks that happen over morning tea and in our home groups so that here "nobody stands alone". The next step in any life is to start growing in our knowledge of the world and of God. But, "I can't grow for you", and as such, we encourage people to join us Sunday mornings, in one of our growth groups, or in one of our new block courses. As we continue to mature, it's important to realize that "If it's going to be, it's up to me" because God made you unique for a unique purpose. As such, it's important to discover your gifts, and to start using them in His service. Finally, as adults, we seek to pour out our lives for the benefit of those we love. As believers, we seek to pour out our lives as living sacrifices in an act of worship to God, where we put "All that I am and all that I have" at His disposal to be used for His glory, His will, and in His way. It might be interesting for you to place yourself on this growth journey to see what new challenges are next for you, or to see what needs revisiting as we walk together towards wholeness in Christ.

If you would like to talk to or pray with an Elder, we encourage you to make yourself known to one of the Worship Team and they will assist you. Ask the Pastor

Beginning April 29th, Pastor Matt has set aside five weeks for your questions on life and faith. To suggest a topic, simply fill out a Communication Card (anonymously if you'd like) with your question in the space provided, or email him at mordaunt6@gmail.com.
