I. Introduction:
Parent -Teachers Association is one of the most significant organization in
the school community. The vital role signifies good partnership in terms of the
implementation of the programs and projects in the school itself. The association
revitalizing endeavor of effort to exist the good result of one program. The school
itself could not stand alone without the help of the PTA Officials. Schools can
benefit in many ways in having a PTA.
II. Objectives:
A. To encourage harmonious relationship between teachers and parents to
support the pupils’ academic performance.
B. To help the school for the implementation of the programs and projects; and
C. To promote school- community friendly environment
III. Highlights of Accomplishments
1. PTA links families to important school and community information.
2. Encourage and facilitate parent involvement in school activities and decision-
making processes.
3. PTA often organize fundraisers and other initiatives to raise funds for the
school.
4. Help build a sense of community among parents, teachers and students.
5. Organize hard working dedicated volunteers, NGO and other stakeholders
willing to help PTAs to implement school improvement programs.
IV. Problems Met
1. Other parents lack of coordination and participation
2. Lack of fund
3. Other parents lack of support in their children’s development
4. Other parents have negative thinking about the programs due to past
implementation failed.
