The Armorial Hall of the Landhaus, where the Prince’s Stone and 665 coats of
arms are exhibited, is one of the most important witnesses to history of the
country. Josef Ferdinand Fromiller, Carinthia’s most famous Baroque painter,
painted the coats of arms for numerous dukes and noble houses with a high
degree of technical precision and Baroque opulence. He created one of the
most beautiful and impressive halls of the country.
