MODEL V30, 50, 100

START UP CHECKS

• Your eyes may be injured by the processing solution.


Be sure to wear safety goggles.
• Your skin may be injured by the processing solution.
Be sure to wear chemical resistant gloves and working clothes.

1 Press the TIMER key. 3 ATTACH UPPER TURN GUIDES

After grime has been removed from
each upper turn guide and inlet guide,

SPLICING
Splicing is the operation where the film is spliced to the leader card.
For information on how to splice film other than 135 film, refer to the Operator’s Manual - Basic Operations -.

• Your hand may be cut with the cutter. Do not bring your hand close to the cutter.

1 Pull the film tongue. 3 Lift the film holder of the splicing
gauge and raise the cutter.

2 Check that the leader card is not

Remove glue from the leader card, if any.

4 Place the film on the splicing gauge


and lower the film holder.
Never use the leader cards under
