The table provides information about six main computer companies

and the others, which occupied the global market separately of the
notebook selling in 2006 and 2007.

Overall, the percentage of market share of HP and Dell had


obviously increased during the two years whereas the increasing of
Toshiba was slight. Meanwhile, the remaining companies in the table
were showed the decline of the marketing rate.

The market share of HP in 2006 was 31.4%, almost one third , then
it climbed to 34% in the next year which over a third of total. HP had
the biggest proportion on notebook market. The following
manufacture is Dell, which had nearly 4% growth on the selling from
2006 to 2007, and it made up a fifth of total on the global market.

Another notebook company which also had one-tenth of sales in the


table was Acer. It was 11.6% of the market share in 2006, yet it
decreased a bit to 10.7% in the year 2007, while Toshiba had a small
rising from 6.2% to 7.3%.
