Dear Members of the Admission Committee,
My name is Kartik Amrutlal Prajapati, and I am writing to express my
strong interest in the Master of Science in Global Software Development
at Fulda University of Applied Sciences. My goal is to become a software
developer who creates practical and reliable solutions that address real-
world problems. I believe software has the power to improve productivity,
efficiency, and everyday life, and I want to use my skills to contribute to
meaningful solutions.
I am particularly drawn to Fulda University because this Master’s program
combines theory with hands-on projects. The program offers modules
such as Cloud Computing, Big Data and NoSQL Databases, Model-
Driven Development, Building Web and Mobile Apps, Distributed
Applications, and Global Distributed Software Development. These
subjects align closely with my background in programming and system
development and will help me build strong software solutions with
practical applications in areas such as visualization and intelligent
systems. I am also motivated by the program’s applied research
approach and project-based learning, which provide opportunities to work
on practical problems with professors and fellow students.
Germany’s excellent education system and its leadership in technology
are additional reasons for my choice. I value the emphasis on
independent study, critical thinking, and practical experience, as these
will help me grow academically and professionally. Leading technology
companies in Germany leverage advanced programming tools and
software development technologies. These tools offer the opportunity to
develop solutions that make a real difference in industry and society.
I hold a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from Gujarat
University, Ahmedabad, where I gained strong skills in programming,
database management, and software development. My final-year project
on an E-Learning System gave me hands-on experience in building
secure and user-friendly software.
Additionally, I have over a year of professional experience at Nivzen
Technologies, first as an intern and later as a full-time backend
developer. I built and optimized REST APIs, managed databases, and
handled production deployments. This experience strengthened my
technical skills and taught me how to work effectively in teams, solve
problems efficiently, and handle real-world software development
challenges.
After completing my Master’s degree, I aim to work as a software
developer in an international environment, focusing on creating
innovative and reliable software solutions in global software development
and intelligent systems. My long-term goal is to design software that
improves efficiency, usability, and functionality across industries while
addressing practical problems.
