There as a proverb goes People are inherently good saying from Mencius. It means after people were born, people are like white papers as well as they are kind, hardworking, and peace. Likewise, people arent lazy, dont like war, and dont have animus. But why there is happened so many crimes, lack of responsibility, and intrigue against each other later? Because people are polluted by the circumstances, person they meeting, or acquired learning, people change their original thoughts. Another is a reverse proverb said People are inherently bad from Xunzi. Both the two peoples viewpoints are opposite. Xunzi thought people were born into an evil heart. But why still many people have sense of sympathy and kind heart to help other people? Because people learn acquired as well as they know some behavior with morality or some will hurt others cant do. I prefer the point of Mencius because when people in

mothers womb, you are pure and clean. After people grow up, they may learn from the bad examples, such as smoking, drinking, committing crimes and go on the wrong track. Still many people have sense of kindness and they are glad to contribute to other people who need consideration. In 2011, March 11th strong earthquake stroke northeast of Japan suddenly and people flurried, cried, and scared. People didnt know what to do just running to survive. Climatological station didnt take notice of coming tsunami caused by the earthquake so people werent evacuated from the flats to mountain in time. It caused lots of casualties in that disaster. The sea flooded the northeast area and the houses, roads were covered in the water. Their buildings were broken as well as many people were killed in that day. After the tsunami stroke, many countries aided in finding the families, removing wreckage, and giving victims shelters. In Taiwan, many organizations, like the Red Cross, World Vision, and Tzu Chi, promoted money assistance to Japan

and prey for them as well. Those charities raised finds online and informed the situation in time. It made many groups appear in Facebook leaving some cheerful words. I joined one CHEER UP JAPAN! and I had seen another PREYING FOR JAPAN. Television Company and World Vision also held a beneficent concert for raising funds. Many entertainers joined and sang for no paid. People are still warmhearted when others need help. Above event are a big group and so many people devote their time, money, heart to the victims in Japan. The following is an individual event. I saw it from news. It is about a womans charity works. She called Chen,Shu-Jiu working in a market as a vegetable seller and she is a frugal person in order to save money. However she didnt take her large deposit to buy houses or have fun. She contributed money to Ren-ai elementary school which she studied at it before for building library. In 2005 June, the library was going to complete and she totally donated up to 4.5 million dollars. Mr. Chen contributed one million

dollars to the Red Cross for those orphans as well. The magazine Time noticed her and gave her eighth in the impact of hundred people in the world, but she didnt become arrogant because of the special honor. She was still hard-working and humble. As speeches she had said Im doing nothing. If you have that heart and actions, you can do this too. Her behavior must be admired people can learn many good examples from her. Sometimes I hear some people say that they dont have so much money and how could they donate money to help those people in need. Actually, helping people doesnt mean to give money for those people needing cares as well as people dont have to spend their money for show their kindness. It is just an attitude. Therefore, there are many ways for people to take care of other person. Maybe people can pay their physical actions, such as helping neighbors moving broken furniture or just sitting beside old man and listening to him. It bases on peoples abilities. Try to do if people can complete. Even it is a small

contribution, but maybe means a lot to other people. Last month, my classmate and I went to eat pancakes called Coffee Alley in Shi Lin station. That evening rained heavily. After we out the station, I saw a thin old woman and weak looked like would fall down at any time sitting on a very low chair or squatting. I had seen her before. She seemed like selling magnolia flower every day, but I thought she wouldnt be there because of the heavy rain. She was pitiful and friendless, helpless. I paid the money for her, but didnt take the flower. At first she wanted give it to me. However, I insisted not to accept and later she thanked me gratefully. It made me feel happy by helping someone. Though some bad guys make use of peoples kindness, cheating them, people must not learn the bad instances. News is about that a fake foundation using the similar name with the real charity organization to urge people donating money. It is so detestable. How can people use kindness for making benefit? Of course, that is a special

case. There is still justice in the world. Someday, when I was waiting a bus, I saw a driver got down the bus and helped the person who sitting in a wheelchair up into the bus. It was so touching and people should embrace gratitude for those people who give help or sacrifice themselves. Kindness is everywhere. Just start to act and express peoples kindness then you will find that is so easy even though give a hand to who need help or listen to friends complains. Some slight actions can make people feel more comfortable and look the bright side, but it doesnt take people much time actually. Then why not show your kindness to the people around you first?
