Dreyfoos School of the Arts

was the 37th academic and the No. 1 arts high school in the nation, according to the latest
survey of 20,000 of the nations top public high schools!
If you dont act NOW, though, that is likely to change. Our AIR may evaporate! AIR is our Artists in Residence program. Theyre working professionals who bring their real-world experience in their art to our students. They also attract other prominent working professionals, college and conservatory educators for clinics and additional training. They help position our high schoolers to the top of their art in the state and in the nation!

We are just days away from losing the AIRs that give our young artists, musicians, dancers, actors, lmmakers and writers the extra lift that opened the door to more than $18M worth of college scholarships for the Class of 2012, and launches a handful of careers that will shape the American arts scene for generations to come. The School District cant fund our AIRs. They are funded by YOU. Our Save the Arts Campaign has fallen short. We have raised nearly $60,000 of our $100,000 goal. We are $40,000 short! We need $525.00 for every student at Dreyfoos. Save the Arts also provides materials for classrooms that are vital to teaching. Many of our students do not have the means to buy their materials, or rent an instrument that they need to perform their art. Dreyfoos has prided itself that no student, no matter from where they come, goes without, no matter what their means. A paintbrush, dance shoes, props for a play, or a baritone saxophone can mean a scholarship to college that changes lives. For more than three decades you, and DSOA supporters like you, have made the difference in the lives of these talented young people. We need your help now more than ever! Not in a week Not in a month. TODAY. Times have been hard. We know. Your support, and the support of your friends and family who love the arts in Palm Beach County, and reward excellence with opportunity is essential! what you $1 is $2.00. We have donors who will match, dollar for dollar, give.
