Infernal Veil II Walkthrough

Welcome to Infernal Veil II walkthrough. My name is Tom Biafra. Im from Indonesia. I am sorry for my poor English. Hmm, this walkthrough really need improvements here and there. There are a lot of aspects that I forget or lazy to write. E.g., in the boss battle, one of the boss spell is multi attack and inflicting status effect. But I forgot which is which. Another example might be... is this walkthrough too much of a spoiler? If anyone is willing to improve this walkthrough, be my guest. Well, lets start, shall we? Last note: this is an RPG. So you should know the drill. Very last note: What if someone is new to playing this kind of stuff? Would anyone be kind enough to put on some guide for it? This is an RPG, level up system, character status, status effect, turn-based system,etc, etc.

Walkthrough
Watch the opening scene. You will have an opportunity to give a name to a rather rude, and impatient young treasure hunter. I will refer him to his default name, Ashem. After that, the game will offer you if you want to read the movement, and combat tutorial. Do so if you are not familiar with this kind of game. Marauder Ruins F1 You are not able to go South (outside), yet. Before you continue, press the X or the Escape button, from the Menu choose System (confirm with Z, Spacebar, or Enter button). You can set the Auto-Dash form Walk to Dash, and Instant Text form Normal to Instant for you convenience. Or not. Whatever. And also, get yourself familiar with the menu and sub-menus. It is not that difficult. At the bottom left corner of your screen there is an encounter radar. Starting from blue/white. The closer it is to red, the closer you are encountering a monster. Now, head North until the 4-way intersection. First, head East, South, and West to 2 wooden box [Potion of Cure, Tonic of Purity]. Head back to the 4-way intersection. Now, head all the way West. At the fork, head South and East to a wooden box [Moist Balm]. Back at the fork, head North and East. You will come to a wall switch and a wooden box [Cold Balm]. Open the chest and flick the switch. Head back to the 4-way intersection once again. Now, head North, East, North, West. Ignore for the first path down you see. Continue West for a wooden box [Heat Balm]. Now, head down the path you ignored. Follow the path and the door should be unlocked now. Check the tombstone for a scene. You will get an Ancient Tablet. You will end up in Teymar City. You can save you game at the glowing red orb (Record Conserver, RC). Now to explore this place. Head all the way West and enter the first building you see. Item Shop

Description Restores 500 HP for one ally. Restores 200 SP for one ally. Revives a dead ally with 100 HP Cures an ally of Poison.

In each building you enter in this game, there wll be a shining/glowing part in a cupboard, bookshelf, or anything. Like the one in this Item Shop, it yields a Potion of Cure . So, anytime you enter a building, house, look out for this kind of stuff. Get out of the shop and head to the house above it. Sparkling item: Rubber Balm. Next house above is the Pub/Inn (costs 200 Silnium a night). Sparkling Item: Dry Balm. Speak to the bartender to ask for an appraisal. Then, a young girl with a loud, energetic personality will come in. You will get to name her. I will call her Serworen (default). She is on her way to the Scholar in this place. His house is the second house on the right side of town. Serworen will join your party. The man to the right of the bartender is... he will have a role later. Leave him be. Sparkle: Dry Balm. Now, head back to the Record Conserver (RC). Head up the path. Beyond the fence, there is someone to your right. Price Description 250 Prevents battles for 85 steps. 250 Increases battle encounter rate for 25 steps.

We are done exploring Teymar City. Now, head to the house we ignored before. The second house on the right side of town. Sparkle: Rubber Balm. Talk to the Scholar (blue hat) for a scene. When you have control, head back to the town entrance and talk to the proper speaking man, wearing a set of rusty armor in the middle. I will call him Delran (default). He will join your party. Head out of town to the overworld. To the east you will see a structure with a red circle and have a sparkle. This is your destination. While the other structures which do not have a sparkle, means you can not access them, yet. The sparkling structure to the South is the Marauder Ruins from the beginning. Head there for a while. Take the yellow flower at the left of the entrance (Desert Tuplic). You will need this for later.

Head back to our destination.

Fight the Desert Spectre guarding the entrance. Enemy Exp Gold : Lv2 Desert Spectre : 39 : 109

Out here, the encounter is visible, while inside a building, it is back to random encounter. It is advised to level up here, racking up Silnium so you can upgrade you equipment and buy restorative items. From the entrance head Northeast to a building. On your way there, look at near the body of water in this place. Pick up the flower.

Desert Spectre Camp Insides 1 Inside, follow the linear path, open any wooden box you see. Flick the red switch at the end. Head back to the entrance of this camp. Now, head Northwest to a bulding. Desert Spectre Camp- Insides 1 Inside, head left a bit for a wooden box [Potion of Cure ]. Back to the entrance, head North. Through the narrow path. There is a wooden box [Strong Balm] at the South and a switch to flick at the North. Head out of this building. Head North to the upper part of this camp. Enter the building here. Desert Spectre Camp F1 Head North until the intersection. Head West and South to 2 wooden boxs [Rubber Balm, Heat Balm]. Back to the intersection, head East this time. Continue South. Get the wooden box [Tonic of Revival] to your right before going further South. Head in to the door to the next screen. Desert Spectre Camp F2 Head West and South. At the first intersection, head into the West room for a wooden box [Dry Balm]. And then, the East room also has a wooden box [Heat Balm]. Back to the intersection, head South to the next intersection. The West room holds 2 wooden boxs [Rubber Balm, Tonic of Revival]. Head into the East door and enter the door at the end to the next screen.

Desert Spectre Camp F3 Head West, North, East, and take the first path down. The West room has 2 wooden boxes [Strong Balm, Cold Balm]. The East room also has 2 wooden boxes [Tonic of Revival, Cold Balm]. Head East and South. There is a Desert Spectre between you and the door. She is just like the one at the entrance. Enter the door. Desert Spectre Camp Leaders Room You can camp out before you move forward. You will be able to save you game, too. If anything goes wrong, you can load from this point. Talk to leader in the middle. After the fight, you will get the Ancient Tablet back. Head back out of this Camp entirely. Head back to Teymar to talk to Scholar Kyle. Head out to the overworld and head to the structure nearby. Every now and then, this guy, Chris, will always be right outside the dungeons you are about to explore. He will give hints about the current dungeon. E.g., this dungeons have damage tiles, so, you can walk diagonally to avoid them. Temple of Hurt F1 Head North to the intersection. Form here, head West adn North to 2 wooden boxs [Tonic of Revival, Cold Balm]. Back to the intersection. Head East this time. The North path is empty. Head East and South and go down the stairs. Temple of Hurt F2 Here you will see the damage tiles. You can move diagonally by simultaneously pressing 2 direction arrows. Up + Right Up + Left Down + Right Down + Left = = = = move Northeast move Northwest move Southeast move Southwest

Head South, West, North, West and South to the first fork. Head East first for a wooden box [Tonic of Revival]. Back to the fork, and continue South, East, North, East, South. The wooden box [Heat Balm]. The brown chest [Confusor]. Head South to the next screen. Temple of Hurt F3 Head South to a fork. Head West first for a wooden box [Strong Balm]. Back to the fork, head South to another fork. Take the West path first for a wooden box [Dry Balm]. Back to the fork, head East and North. Before going down the stairs to the next screen, open the wooden box [Moist Balm] and the brown chest [Chaos Bomb]. Temple of Hurt F4 At this intersection, head South first. Athe fork, the West path leads to a woden chest [Potion of Cure]. The East path leads to 2 brown chests [Confusor, Sanity]. Back to the start of F4, head North, East, and South. The steel chest [Disbelief Balm]. Confront the door guard.

Another scene will ensue. You will end up in the inn in Teymar. A rather clumsy dark wizard will join you. I will call him Thomas (default). Head back to Scholar Kyle. Your next destionation is Kurum. Before we advance the story, lets get back to the Prayer Chamber of the Temple of Hurt. There is a steel chest waiting for us there. From the overworld, head Northeast to the structure near the water. East Border Head through. When you are out on the other side, head all the way South to Kurum Port Town. The town with ships outside. Kurum Port Town Raid the town for sparkles. The inn costs 500 Silnium a night. There is a man sulking in the inn. Remember him for later. In the East part of town, in the second house from the bottom there is a granny inside. Remember her for later. Now, head to the West part of town to the next screen. Visionary Helm Talk to the guard. IT SEEMS YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE, CITIZEN. Head back to the inn and talk to the gloomy, sulking guy. Simon want you to find his son, Simon II. If you succeedm you will be able to meet the Visionary leader, Bishop Kristoff. Head back out to the overworld. Marsh of the Lost East Head West. At the intersection, head North a bit for a wooden box [Moist Balm]. Continue West. At some ways, there will be a small path down. Follow it West to a wooden box [Moist Balm]. Continue West to the next screen. Marsh of the Lost Center At this intersection, either path connects. So, either path is okay. Head all the way South, East, and North to a wooden box [Rubber Balm]. Head back South, and head all the way West and North. When it branches, head North. Ignore the path to the West for now. Head all the way North, picking the wooden box on the

way [Heat Balm]. Head East, and take the first path down to a wooden box [Potion of Spirit]. Now, head back to the branch we ignored, as further East will only lead us to the start of this Center part. You will be arrive at... Marsh of the Lost West Head West. At the fork, take the lower path for a wooden box [Potion of Spirit]. Continue West on the upper path. At the next fork, head Southeast first to a wooden box [Potion of Cure ]. Back to the fork, continue West and North to the next screen. Marsh of the Lost Marshchild Dungeon Head North, at the fork, head South for a wooden box [Cold Balm]. Continue North. At the next fork, head West and South to a wooden box [Cold Balm]. Heal up and save. Continue North. You will eventually found Simon II. Boss fight time! Head back to Kurum. Head to the inn. Afther the scene, head to the Visionary Helm. Visionary Helm There are 2 sparkles here. Head North and spek to Kristoff. After the scene, head back out. Buy items, upgrade equipments. When you are ready, go out to the overworld. Head North and enter the first structure to your right. Temple of Pain F1 Head North. At the fork, head West. At the next fork, head South and East to a wooden box [Moist Balm]. Back to the previous fork, head North for a wooden box [Rubber Balm]. Now, head back to the first fork. Head North. Head East. At the fork, head South first for a wooden box [Strong Balm]. Bak to the fork, head North and West to a ladder to the next screen. Temple of Pain F2 Head South. Either path lead to the same way. Continue East. At the next fork, continue East for a wooden box [Potion of Cure]. Back to the fork, head North, East. Take the first path down for a wooden box [Tonic of Purity]. Continue East, South, West, and South to the next screen. Temple of Pain F3 Follow the path. Take the brown chest [Divine Protection]. Continue North. At the fork, head West for 2 brown chests [Retain, Divine Protection]. Back to the fork, head North and follow the path. Open the brown chest along the way [Ice Bomb]. Temple of Pain F4

At this main intersection, head West and South to a wooden box [Tonic of Revival]. Continue all the way East, ignore the path up you see. Head North and take the 2 brown chests you see [Vaccine, Sonic Song]. Now, head back to the path you ignored. Heal up and save. When you are ready, head North ot the next screen. Temple of Pain Prayer Chamber Enemy : Lv17 Guardian of Pain & Lv9 Defected Druid Exp : 853 (488 & 365) Gold : 2460 (1634 & 826) Drop: : Moist Balm After the fight, head back into the Prayer Chamber and open the steel chest. The item is likely random. I reload once, and I get different item/ Head back to Kurum, to talk with Bishop Kristoff. Note: There is one thing in the Visionary Helm that keeps bothering me. When you enter the Visionary Helm, you head West and take the first path down. When you talk to the Visionary here, he keeps repeating the same line over and over again: Sorry, but no one is permitted to enter the dungeons. Every time I visited this spot, after every major plot in the game, I still can not get to enter it. Have I missed something? Or is it just a teaser? After the scene with Bishop Kristoff, head out to the overworld. Head all the way North and enter the desert to the East. When you arrive at another fork, head North to the narrow path. And continue East. The exit is to the Northeast.

North Desert Beastfolk Encampment Enter the first house to your right. Watch the scene. Your task is to find 3 specific flowers; which is already in our possession, right? Check this walkthrough if have not picked them yet. If you do, talk to Pola again. Head out of this house. Near the house is an RC. Left of the RC is the inn (costs 200 Silnium). Clean this town of the sparkles. Now, head to the North exit of this place. Temple of Memories No random encounter Temple of Memories F1 Brought back some nasty memories. Keep that in mind. Head Nort to the first fork. Head West first for 2 wooden boxes [Moist Balm, Rubber Balm]. Head back to the fork, and take the East path tot he next screen. This game starts to hate me. I restarted SEVEN times, only to find out what item she drops. Maybe someone can fill it up for me. West path holds a wooden box [Potion of Cure ]. I ALSO restarted SEVEN times, only to find out what is his drop; to no avail. Head back into the Prayer Chamber. Open the steel chest. I got Shell Aptitude . Maybe it will be different for you. Now, head back to Bishop Kristoff. After that, head back to Teymar and speak with Scholar Kyle. You next task is to find a boat. Remember the old lady in the Southeast house in Kurum? Lets pay her a visit, shall we? After you speak with her, she will give you the speak. Now, head to the docks (inside the town). Take the second one. If you head down the tiny ladder, there will be 4 options available to you. Choose Jungle Isle. You will be sailing, and arrive at the Jungle Isle shortly. Head to the second shining spot. Paranum Jungle Entrance Watch the scene. Head East form the entrance. At the first fork, head North for a wooden box [Strong Balm]. Back to the fork, and continue East. At the next fork, head North for a wooden box [Moist Balm]. Back to the fork, continue East to the next screen. Paranum Jungle Thicket Watch the scene when you enter this screen. At this fork, take the South path and follow it to the end for a brown chest [Fire Bomb]. Back to the fork, take the North path this time. Head to the first East path you see for a wooden box [Rubber Balm]. Now, continue North, East. Take the first South path you see for 2 brown chests [Insomnia, Tonic of Revival]. Head back jup, and continue East to enter the Elven Camp. Paranum Jungle Elven Camp The first building below houses a man in bed. Remember this for later. The building to the right of the weapon shop is the inn (costs 200 shiny rocks). The house right below this one, the guarded one, is Elder Dizane House. He needs you to do a task for him first before allowing you to enter the Temple of Anger. Note from Thomas: I am simply being realistic, girl. We can not start to delude the truth with such useless feelings such as hope. Your task is to kill the beast to the South. Now, if you head there straight away, there is a huge chance you will be lost; it is the Lost Jungle, after all. Now, head to the house with the man in bed. Talk to him. Mark his word: go in every direction except north five times. If you go south, east, and west five times... then kill her friends... she will appear. Head South to the Lost Jungle. Head South five times. There will be a visible monster. It is a Bush Spirit. Douse it. Now, head East five times. There will be a visible monster. It is a Bush Whacker. Put it six feet under. Now, head West five times. There will be a visible monster. It is a Bush Gillaman. Before you kill it, heal up and save. Now, confront it. After that, a scene ensues. You will be thrown in a boss fight. Ice them. Note from Thomas: I am a bad person for having a differing view point than you, and do not easily agree with your way if thinking. You have far too many generic, copy and pasted ideas that make you no different than anyone else in the entire world. Optimism is just a way of disappointing yourself repeatedly, and it takes a completely absent minded individual such as yourself to not see that. Note from Delran: The world is neither light nor dark. One must exist in a balance of both trust and mistrust. Life is about balance, not optimism or pessimism. How can I restart with a fight and a scene inbetween? Fortunately, I got lucky in my first restart. After the fight, you will obtain a Beast Horn. Head North to the Elven Camp. First, speak to Dizane. He will give you a Redrock Waraxe. Next, back to the man in bed for a word of encouragement. When you are ready, head to the Northeastern portion of this camp. Temple of Anger F1 Head North to the main intersection. Head East and take the North and South paths for 2 wooden boxes [Dry Balm, Potion of Spirit]. Head back to the intersection. Head West. Ignore the first path down. Continue West and take both paths for 2 wooden boxes [Cold Balm, Potion of Spirit]. Now, head down to the path you ignored before. Head down the stair to the next screen. Temple of Anger F2 Watch the scene. After thar, head North. At the fork, both paths lead to the same place. Open the brown chest you see [Fire Bomb]. Continue North. The next brown chest [Tonic of Revival]. Take the stairs to the next screen. Temple of Anger F3 Both paths lead to the same place. The East path holds 2 brown chests [Tempo, Confusor]. The West path holds 2 brown chests [Durable, Ice Bomb]. Head down the stairs. Temple of Anger F4 East and West path each holds a brown chest [Shiny Balm, Divine Protection]. Head North. There is 2 brown chests here [Disbelief Balm, Chaos Bomb]. Heal up and save. When you are ready, head into the door. After the fight and the scene, head back into the Prayer Chamber and open the steel chest [Shiny Balm]. Head back to the Elven Camp, and head back to your boat. Interact with the shiny spot to get back to Kurum. Back to the boat, head to Necro Isle. Necron Village Watch the scene. The first guilding to your right is the armor shop. The first building to the left is the inn (costs 200 Silnium). Your destination is the middle house in North. Speak to Joseph. After the scene, head to the West exit. Necron Manor F1 Head North to the first 4-way intersection. Head East for a brown chest [Potion of Cure II]. Head back to the intersection, and take the West path for a brown chest [Tonic of Revival]. Head back to the intersection again, head North this time.
