To whom it may concern;

As the parent and father of an ambitious student, I take great pleasure in recommending my
daughter, Elora DG. Mo, for the scholarship opportunity at Ateneo De Manila University.

I am a former OFW who retired in 2018 due to health reasons. My wife and I have two children.
And we are currently residing in Sabang, Baliuag, Bulacan. We rented a small sari-sari store in
Pagala, Baliuag, Bulacan with a monthly income of Php15,000.00. Some of my additional income
as a freelance home repair service, Php6,000.00 a month. I also received financial support from
my elder sister, Php10,000 a month. My wife is unemployed and she does the house chores for us.
As a result, I am the only one financially supporting our family and we have accumulated an
income of Php31,000.00. And for the reason that the sari-sari store sale and home repair services
does not exceed Php 250,000.00, I am not required to file ITR.

Our monthly expenses are about Php30,300.00 a month, which includes our basic needs such as
food, paying utilities, providing the school allowances for our two children - one in elementary
school and one in senior high school, transportation and the like. Therefore, my income is enough
for our family daily needs only. Although I have savings of around Php70,000 in my hand and in
the e-wallet, those are reserved for emergency use.

Elora is currently a Grade 12 student at the Montessori in Baliuag, Bulacan. Since elementary, my
daughter has been not only academically brilliant but also a hard-working individual. She
consistently proves her commitment to learning and growth by actively seeking out opportunities
to expand her knowledge and skills. Her academic track record is a testament to her dedication and
her potential for future success.

Much as I want to send my daughter to good schools which would definitely cater her needs. I just
could not afford to financially support her upcoming college education due to my limited
resources. With the help of the financial aid scholarship, my daughter would be able to focus more
fully on her studies without worrying about financial burdens.

Thus, I am appealing to your benevolent heart to consider my daughter, Elora Maderazo, who is
about to graduate from senior high school, to get accepted at your institution with a full
scholarship.
Please feel free to reach me through my contact details should you require any further information
or clarification. I look forward to your positive consideration of my daughter's application.

Sincerely,

Maderazo
