Dulwich and Sydenham Hill Golf Course London, United Kingdom Consulting Superintendent ( June 2007 December 2007 ) Worked closely with the superintendent on improving maintenance standards and procedures, irrigation system upgrades, and fine tuning their fertilizer-pesticide programs. I was also instrumental on several bunker renovation and drainage projects. Deep Cliff Golf Course - CourseCo Cupertino, California Superintendent ( July 2000 April 2007 ) Responsibilities included all aspects of the golf course maintenance operation; personnel management, annual operating budget and monthly forecasting, purchasing, scheduling and maintenance of irrigation system, pesticide applications and related reporting, and compliance with regulatory issues. Worked closely with the GM to manage the operation in a fiscally responsible and professional manner. We achieved Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary certification in 2005 under my direction. Major improvements in the bentgrass/poa annua greens and kikuyu/ryegrass fairways were realized during my tenure. We also renovated numerous bunkers, tees, and cart paths. Other projects included upgrading to a Toro LTC plus irrigation control system, adding drainage on almost every hole, installation of native areas and course landscaping and root pruning trees encroaching on playing surfaces.
