Hungtingtons Theory

Huntington was expecting a clash of Western civilization with other civilizations that will shape the political climate. Three main assumptions:
a. After the cold war era the most significant difference between the world communities is no longer ideological, political and economic but cultural. b. Civilization is the largest cultural entities and conflicts as they arise are due to the cultural differences that led to a clash between civilizations. c. Central to the issues related to the international agenda is actually related to the differences that exist between various civilizations.

11 September Conflict

Existing Islamophobia grew thicker Due to the events of two Muslim countries Afghanistan and Iraq invaded and occupied by the U.S. to Syria and Iran became the new target. Hamas and Hezbollah are listed as terrorists on par with Al-Qaeda. Palestinians attacked Lebanon and increased suffering From Islamic countries the opportunity to study in the U.S. delayed due to sanctions and the atmosphere of Islamophobia

Genuine liberation struggle in Chechnya, southern Thailand and the southern Philippines were contaminated and stuck West insisted besides hate campaign, the key problem lies in the politics of Islamic countries that do not practice democracy, freedom and human rights.

Issues To Overcome

Dialogue of civilizations capable of reducing the inherent tension in human relationships, fostered through understanding and ways of thinking about their own lives. It is acknowledged that not all of the problem stems from ignorance about civilization, hence its solution can not be achieved through a dialogue of civilizations.
the conflict between the Islamic world and the West, more accurately seen as a conflict between the United States and its allies Britain and the radical Islamic group. It also includes economic interests such as domination of the Persian Gulf oil fields.

Religious beliefs and religious life, which became the core cultural communities, need to be understood together, so they can accept the difference, without causing conflict.

Conclusion

To meet the challenges of these era we need to be proactive in our own to highlights the discourse of different civilizations dialogue and has the potential to conflicting. For Malaysian society civilization challenges to be faced in two levels, both internally and externally. Internally races relation issues, religion and different culture in country Externally the issue of the western world and the Islamic world, sometimes tense
