adults aged 45 or over as that is the main audience for radio 4 as the show was a one-off special for the
channel.

direction is used to
make the audience
feel like the
characters are in the
setting and not in a
studio. As well, it
suggests that the
characters are in the
middle of working
out or have just
finished.

Similar to the first example, this script will have the same
target audience. The layouts are similar but this script
explicitly tell the reader the sound effects at the beginning of
the scene.

The FX is used
to show that the

is used to help
create the setting
and make the
scene more
believable.
