Introduction

Dual Arm Robot Manipulators

Evolution of tradition robotic arms

Can do cope with two independent tasks at the same time

Gives much more degrees of freedom

With dual arms complex tasks can be performed with less

time

Tasks can be divided in much simpler orders without the

increase in time consumption

APPLICATIONS

DUAL ARM CONCEPT ROBOT

Applications

Duality:

The expensive and extra positioning tools can be eliminated using dual arm
technology - As one arm can work as the positioner, while holding the
certain part in place required, and the other arm continue the remaining of
the task (i.e. painting, assembly or welding).

Double the Payload:

The capacity of handling payload while get approximately double when two
arms works together.

Applications

Dexterous workspace:

It can reach more complex orientation with it dual arm structure

compared to traditional robotic arm, which also increase the
workspace of robot.

Safety and Control:

Within the limiting conditions more safe and controlled actuation can
carried out.
