PROCEDURES
Procedures help us get tasks done in our classroom. When we follow
procedures, we will learn easier and always know what we need to
do. We will be reviewing these procedures throughout the first few
days of school. Procedures are to be followed every single day, even
if a substitute is running the class.
A. ENTERING CLASSROOM AND GETTING TO WORK
1. Enter quietly and respectfully.
2. Place book bag in designated area and take all necessary
materials to your desk. (Pencils, erasers, notebook)
3. If needed, sharpen pencil.
THIS IS THE ONLY TIME YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO SHARPEN
PENCILS.
*All tests/journals must be completed in pencil.
NO TEST WILL BE ACCEPTED WHEN COMPLETED IN INK.
4. Look for BELL WORK on the SCREEN each day. Complete the
assignment in your journal section of your portfolio.
and more
B. IF YOURE PENCIL BREAKS AND YOU DO NOT HAVE
AN EXTRA
1. Raise your broken pencil in the air.
2. I will acknowledge you and you may get a pencil from the
student center. You cannot sharpen my pencil. This must be
returned
at the end of class.
3. You are responsible for sharpening your pencil before you
sit down and to bring more than one to class EVERYDAY.
C. MOVING IN THE CLASSROOM
1. We will be completing assignments as a class,
individually, and in small groups. This means we will be
moving around frequently.
2. Quietly move around the room as you move into groups
or for anything that requires you to get out of your seat.
3. Do not interrupt others as you move around the room.
And FINALLY
D. BATHROOM/NURSE/OFFICE/COUNSELOR VISITS

behavior.

HALL PASS completely.
