Register using only your SBU email address.
AND you need to register your clicker on bboard.
(Instructions posted under Documents.) We cant
credit you for answers until youve done all of this
correctly.
Bring your clicker to the next class for dry run.
(And every day after that for in-class questions.)
Nothing else required, even if bundled with your book.

Exams
1st three non-cumulative. All midterms (Oct 5,
Nov 2, Dec 7) are during regular class time.
Thursday, Dec 15th 8:30 PM Final (cumulative
and mandatory).
All multiple-choice (midterms 30 qs; final 50 qs).
Lowest midterm score is dropped. Final counts.
Check your calendar now. No alternative times for
any of the exams. Sorry!

You-Make-The-Call Questions
Ill ask an average of 2 questions per day in class.
You get credit for answering; you dont need to
give the correct answer.
You must be present when the question is given
and must answer with your device in order to
earn credit for it. (And it must be you
answering).

Experiment
Participation

5 hours of participation (1st 3 by 9 PM 10/28).


Sign up for experiments through SONA. (See
document on bboard.)
Do them early in the semester!
Specifics are posted on bboard, including rules,
sign-up procedures, and contact info for Subject
Pool Director.
"Sona Mobile" for Apple and Android devices
can be found in the iTunes App Store and
Google Play store.

Your Rights & Obligations As


A Research Participant
OBLIGATIONS
Complete 5 hours of experiments or equivalent.
Credit given in -hr increments. (See guidelines on
bboard.)
Arrive on time. Be sure youre in the right building
(usually Psych A or Psych B).
Follow instructions (unless you withdraw).
RIGHTS
Withdraw without penalty. (But wont get credit.)
Credit if experimenter doesnt come.
Debriefing.

Bonus Points
Complete the semester without asking a
question that is already answered anywhere
in Bboard Announcements or Documents,
and youll receive 2 bonus points. (But well
answer your questions.)
Email or in person, to me or the TAs.
So save us time (thank you!), and to collect
your 2 easy points: Check first!
