What are Behavioral Adaptations?

-Every organism has adaptations that help them survive.
-Behavioral Adaptations are things an animal does to survive.
-An example is an adaptation is when bears hibernate in the winter.
-Adaptations are the results of evolution.
-Over time animals that are better adapted to their environment survive
and breed.
-Animals that are not adapted to an environment may not survive and
die.
-Some forms of adaptations are hibernation, migration, and estivation.

Migration
Migration is the seasonal movement of animals from one region to
another.
Animals migrate to find food or more livable conditions.
Examples of animals who migrate:
-birds

-mammals

-fish
-amphibians

Some animals that estivate are:
-Hedgehogs
