Conversational skill
1. Control the tone of your voice so that you are conveying exactly what you
mean to say.
2. Be knowledgeable.
3. Be clear and concise.
4. Broad think or keep an open mind.
Listening skill
5. Whenever possible sit with person, during communication, do not cross your
arms or legs because that body language conveys a message of being closed.
6. Be alert but relaxed.
7. Keep the conversation as natural as possible and avoid being overly eager.
8. If culturally appropriate, maintain eye contact with the person.
9. Use appropriate facial expression and body gesture while listening.
