As seen in the picture, the
internet works by sending
packets back and forth to
the modem, router and
server.

HOW DO YOU ACCESS THE

INTERNET?
In order to access the internet, you must a computer, cell phone, or
similar that is connected to a network, either wired or wireless.
With cell phones and other mobile devices, you can access the
internet using 3G, 4G, or LTE.

WHO USES IT?

Many people use the internet, although the majority the younger
people living in developed countries. People use it for research,
education, socialization, news, auctioneering, downloading of files,
and more.

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE

LOOK LIKE FOR THE
INTERNET?
Several people have stated that in the next few years, the internet
will grow, providing more websites for more industries. Others have
stated that the percentage of single platform (Computer-Only and
Mobile-Only) websites will drop.

WHAT DO I THINK WILL

HAPPEN TO THE INTERNET?
I think that the Internet will grow massively in the next 5-10 years,
and even spread to more countries, albeit not much. Few websites
will be single platform, allowing access to both computers and
mobile devices. Online education may become mainstream, being
heavily used in schools in developed countries.
