Febrile child that needs urgent


management
Shockimmediate intravenous fluid
Unrousable
Sign of meningococcal disease
Low oxygen saturation (<95%)
Suspected serious bacterial infection

Admission
High risk immunosuppressed, congenital heart
disease
Parental anxiety (experience)
Sick contact w serious infectious disease
Recent travelling
Multiple visit to healthcare provider yet unresolved
Fever without obvious cause that last longer than
expected
