The Learning Resources Development Centre aims to design, develop, and provide learning materials in print, models, and digital formats to improve teaching and learning at polytechnics affiliated with the Technical Examination Board. The document discusses how LRDC faculty have prepared digital slides in PowerPoint and PDF formats for most courses in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering to aid both individual and classroom learning using computers and projectors. It is hoped that providing this learning aid will benefit polytechnics in improving the complex teaching and learning process.

Learning Resources Development Centre is an academic unit of
Technical Examination Board. The LRDC aims to design, develop & provide learning material in print form, solid-state-models & in digital form to improve teaching-learning process at Polytechnics, affiliated to Technical Examination Board. Here a little attempt is made by LRDC faculties to prepare a number of digital slides in M.S.Powerpoint mode as well as in p.d.f.(portable document formatting) mode for most of the courses offered in Civil, Mechanical & Electrical engineering programmes. This will be useful while learning through Computer in small group of students as well as with the help of LCD projector in class room teaching. Students can also use this for self learning. I hope that different polytechnics will be benefited with this learning-aid to improve complex teaching-learning process. March 2006. CHAIRMAN, TECHNICAL EXAMINATION BOARD, GUJARAT STATE, GANDHINAGAR.
