Buffalo usually attain puberty when
they reach about 60% of their adult
body weight.
Age according to (nutrition and
genetic).

*It has been indicated that the
occurrence of first heat is more a
function of weight than age. Most
buffaloes generally start exhibiting
heat symptoms on attaining about
340 kg body weight. Hence breeding,
feeding and management practices
 Age of first insemination is
29 months (2.5 years).
