EMPLOYMENT.

Hello Everyone. My name is Amanda Vargas. I

am currently a first year teacher. I teach 2nd
grade Math and Social Social Studies in the
great West Texas city of Fort Stockton.
 EXPLAIN THE LEADERSHIP ROLE(S) YOU ARE CONSIDERING
PURSUING AND WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO CONSIDER THIS ROLE.

The leadership role that I am considering

pursuing is the role of a principal. I am
motivated to consider this role because I feel
that children are our future and it is
important that every child is educated and
given all possible opportunities to become
the best possible citizen.
Describe the ways in which you demonstrate
leadership in your current position.

Currently, I do not
demonstrate leadership in
my position. I am a new
teacher and as a new
teacher I still have
teachers reminding me to
follow foot of other
teachers.
DISCUSS YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF A CODE OF ETHICS IN
TERMS OF WHY SUCH A CODE IS IMPORTANT AND WHAT IT
MEANS TO YOU TO HAVE ONE AS A PROFESSIONAL.
EDUCATOR

I believe a Code of Ethic means the ethics in

which you operate by. This means a persons
code of ethics refers to how he or she would
handle a situation. It is a persons perspective
and reasoning in making a decision. It is
important to have of code of ethics because
one needs to know what they believe and
how they look at situation.
 EXAMINE HOW PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS LEAD TO
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES IN THE EDUCATIONAL CONTEXT .

I believe personality characteristics lead to

professional competencies because these
characteristics influence one another.
 EXPLAIN HOW PERSONAL LEADERSHIP QUALITIES ARE A
MEANS TO IMPROVE LEADERSHIP PRACTICES.

Personal leadership qualities are a means to

improve leadership practices in order to
create an environment in which you feel you
beliefs and goals are being worked towards
and achieved.
