What we have changed

During the filming and planning process, our narrative

structure changed, due to various factors leading up
to filming. This is due to various factors concerning
actors, location changes, narrative structure and other
elements.
Cast

When we appointed our chosen cast members, we

had four antagonists and one protagonist. However,
when choosing filming dates, some of the antagonists
could not attend and were unreliable when showing
up to filming. This led to wasted filming days and
forced us to change our narrative structure, in order to
support the theme of two antagonists and one
protagonist.
Location

Our film contained two locations which were Hainault forest and
Chadwell heath alleyway(for a flashback scene). However, when
filming in the alleyway, it came to the directors (Tamia
Mullaney-Downer) attention that there was minimal footage of
the gripping kidnap within the alleyway, therefore it denied the
codes and conventions of a thriller. As well as this, the alleyway
itself didnt look as scary as we hoped, therefore in order to
make the audiences experience as thrilling as possible, we
focused on a shed as a new location and made the footage
within the shed evident for a longer period of time, to keep the
audience at the edge of their seats from start to finish.
