This is a establishing shot of the estate we used in Stockwell Mursell estate.

We used this estate as me and Othniel know this location very well and was
quiet most of the time which made it easier to film. Also there weren’t many
cars which entered into this estate so we could film without the interruption of
cars going by. Finally estates are associated with crime and working class
people which were the perfect setting for our plot for CREAM.
This was the football pitch used to film the kids in. This was an important shot
as we needed to show our transition from being kids to male adults. We used
the football pitch on the estate to show that they are closed off from the area
surrounding them which is negative. We also shot them playing football but we
cut it out of our trailer as it took too much time and was not really needed.
In this shot you see the group of friends together hanging out, we chose this
location to show that even though they have grown up they still hang out in
spots that they would of done when they was younger. This shows the
friendship they have built up over the years that we wanted the audience to
comprehend. Also it was a perfect place to film the group as it had benches so
that you saw them gathered around.
This location was used in the scene with the protagonist Joel asking about the
money to Birdie. As you can see it is a more secluded area and is also dark
which fits the mood of the scene. It also was well lit with street lights as we
shot this in the night time so we used it.
This is the car park in the estate, two scenes were shot using this location
which was the drop off for the bag and the police scene. However the police
scene was not intentionally shot here as they had genuinely stopped us in this
location. The drop off however was filmed here as we wanted a place where
the car used in the shot could pull in, also as it was shot in the dark so we
needed somewhere with enough lighting.
This location is what we used for
one of our chase scenes with
Michael playing Pollo. We wanted
a scene to be in the actual block as
we had none as well as being a
good location to catch all of the
running footage in medium shot as
it is a closed off location.
This is South Lambeth Road we used this road at the beginning of our trailer
for a change of location then just an estate.
This is a road just off the estate that we used with Romaine playing Tally has a
argument with a girl. I would say that this was not a good location as cars were
constantly interrupting the shot but as we were on a tight schedule we
managed to film there.
This location is where we did the firework scene, we wanted a different
location one that appeared more upper class then the estate we was using so
we picked this cult a sac. We picked it as we thought the area contrasted with
the firework being shot which is more antisocial which you would not really
expect to see in this area.
