7 Similar Existing Technology:

Turbocharger:
Provides extra power from a smaller engine, but everyone doesnt even require that
extra power.
Engines ECU has to be mapped if added as an After Marker Part.
Doesnt store energy, supplies power simultaneously.
KERS:
Generates electricity from the wheels during braking.
Cant be added to a car as an after market part.
Cars Alternator:
Generates electricity from the rotary motion of the engine crankshaft.
Increases the load the engine has to work on, thereby reducing the efficiency.

8 How is it different from the existing
technology ?

None of the similar technology

can be added as an after market
part, but the main objective of
RES is to be the ease with which
it can be installed in an existing
commercial car.
A person would have to invest
on different parts if he needs all
the features mentioned in the
right, but a single RES does the
job of 5 different technologies.
