Objectives
Given the TEDtalks website, 6th to 8th
grade students will be able to demonstrate
their knowledge of searching for
appropriate videos to use as resources for
projects and presentations and will be able
to identify a video that will teach the class
one new fact or skill.
Description
TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading
ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful
talks (18 minutes or less).
Strategies

database by doing it on their own and
finding a video on their own.
Prerequisites
Basic computer skills to navigate the web
Know how to search effectively
Use the video tools to play, pause, change
the volume, etc.
