The problem is we need to conserve

Math
How much money is being spent
on energy?

The average amount of money schools

spend is 66,000. Strong winds, sunny skies,
plant residues, heat from the earth, and fast-
moving water can each provide a vast and
constantly replenished energy resource
supply. These diverse sources of renewable
energy have the technical potential to
provide all the electricity the nation needs
many times over.
Science
Making the switch to energy efficient light bulbs
reduces energy consumption by about 75
percent. These bulbs can have a usable life that
is up to 10 times longer than traditional
incandescent light bulbs.

Where are we getting our
energy?

Harnessing power from the wind is one of the
cleanest and most sustainable ways to generate
electricity as it produces no toxic pollution or global
warming emissions. Wind is also abundant,
inexhaustible, and affordable, which makes it a
viable and large-scale alternative to fossil fuels.

Like wind power, the sun provides a tremendous

resource for generating clean and sustainable
electricity. The environmental impacts associated
with solar power can include land use and habitat
loss, water use, and the use of
Letter to the
principal
Dear principal,
A good way we can save energy is: Using
solar panels. Solar panels would be very
helpful to us, and solar panels do no damage
to the environment. And we also have to
make sure every light is off after school and
only use laptops for a limited time, so the
school will not take up as much energy, which
would lower the electric bill. Doing this would
make our school better
