WHAT IS IT?
Star Chart is an app available on iPhones and Androids.
The purpose of Star Chart is to allow you to see the
constellations in the sky visibly.
Star Chart also offers numerous details about the constellation
and/or planets. The app offers a description, characteristics,
distance and brightness.
It also allows you to see what other people are looking at all
around the world.
HOW DOES IT WORK?

Star Chart is very easy for anyone to use.

Star Chart works based off of the GPS on the device.
You simply point the device towards the sky to see
constellations near you and down towards the ground to see
what people across the globe are looking at.
Works inside and outside.
IS STAR CHART EDUCATIONAL?

Parents have voted Star Chart to be very educational and easy

for their kids to use.
Star Chart connects kids to space.
Can be used in Science classes.
CAN STAR CHART BE USED IN THE
CLASSROOM?

Star Chart is an easy activity to incorporate into the classroom.

After learning about constellations children can open up the
app on their devices and name the constellations they can see.
Students could also use Star Chart to gauge how far the stars
have moved from day to day and at different times of the day.
It is also a great activity to get children outside and moving
around.
