50 HOURS OF OBSERVATION

KINDERGARTEN, (TWO SESSION, MORNING/AFTERNOON)
THE CLASSROOM WAS VERY DIVERSE. WITHIN THE DIVERSITY YOU HAD; HISPANIC, ASIAN, CAUCASIAN, AFRICAN
AMERICAN, AND THERE WERE A FEW I DID NOT KNOW.
THE CLASSROOM WAS WELL ORGANIZED AND WELL DIRECTIONAL. THE STUDENTS KNEW EXACTLY WHERE
EVERYTHING WAS AND HOW THE CLASSROOM WAS RAN. THE TEACHER HAD A GREAT RELATIONSHIP WITH HER
STUDENTS WHICH MADE IT EASY FOR THEM TO LISTEN AND WANT TO LEARN. SHE HAD SAYINGS LIKE, DROP, DROP
NOT A LOT(GLUE) TO HELP THEM LEARN CERTAIN SKILLS. SHE ALSO HAD A LOT OF TECHNOLOGY TO HELP WITH THE
STUDENTS LEARNING.
SHE LET ME TEACH A FEW LESSONS AND HELP WITH HANDS ON LEARNING ACTIVITIES.
ONLY DOWN FALL SHE DIDNT ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION. FOR EXAMPLE, IF HER STUDENTS WERE USING THE
TECHNOLOGY SHE WOULDNT MONITOR WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND A COUPLE OF TIMES THEY WERE PLAYING
GAMES.
