Welcome!

• The Inaugural CWM EAR Youth Leaders Regional Assembly is a 3-day

conference from to be held on August 11-13, 2008 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
• The Regional Assembly is designed as a platform for Christian youth leaders
from CWM Member Churches in East Asia to fellowship together and discuss on
international and national affairs, and issues affecting young people today.
• The objective is to empower Christian youths to take up their strategic roles as
nation builders through constructive church, community and national
participation.
• Delegates will get to listen to Christian leaders and experts in their respective
fields discuss current events and global issues.
• In this conference, delegates will assess and evaluate their country’s and
church’s progress in tackling national youth problems, policies and future
development.
• Upon such findings, CWM EAR Youth leaders will then prioritize youth work
culminating from these discussions, and initiate holistic mission strategies at all
Member Church levels. Youth leaders will have the opportunity to jointly craft
solutions and decide on how resources should be allocated, with the view to
achieving the purpose set before us in the Great Commission as directed by our
Lord Jesus Christ.

• Fees: Participants are responsible for their own return air tickets and visa
applications. A fee of RM200* will be charged for the full 3-day program. Fees
are not refundable.
• Deadline for submission of applications – July 15, 2008.
• Interested participants are required to submit application forms directly to
nearest CWM Youth Office in Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Myanmar,
Malaysia or Taiwan via email, post or fax.
• Applications from other Christian organizations or churches who are not
members or associates of CWM are required to submit directly to the Overseas
