 Antenna connectivity
In case of FRGP we need to use Bias-T to control the RET as
figure-1
We will use RET controller cable for all other RF module types
as in figure-2

Note that in this
picture FRGP is
used as we dont
have RET controller
port in the RF
module(FRGP) so
bias-T is needed.
Otherwise: direct
connection to AISG

The installation standard will be like
below:
1. UMTS/GSM 900 will be connected
to antenna ports(1&2), RET#1 and
serial number ex:
14CN1009847551
2. WCDMA2100(FRGT) will be
connected to antenna ports(3&4),
RET#2 and serial number ex:
14CN1009847552
3. LTE/GSM1800 will be connected
to antenna ports(5&6), RET#3 and
serial number ex:
14CN1009847553
4. LTE 2300 will be connected to
antenna ports(7&8), RET#4 and
serial number ex:
14CN1009847554
5. 9&10 ports will not be used.

Note: please use above

standard on all sites
as this will help the
operation team to
control the RET easily

The installer is responsible
to label the RET of other
technologies as in figure.
Note that: the only fetched
one automatically is the
RET which controlled by
connected technology
which is either from RF
module of LTE1800 or
from the RF module of
WCDMA/GSM900 in our
cases.
Also only 3G and LTE
system modules will be
configured for multiple
RETs and the system will
fetched the RET
automatically.
