1.1 Project Title:-

The title of the project isA STUDY OF RATIO ANALYSIS IN SAMSONITE

SAUTH ASIA PVT.LTD Ratio Analysis is widely used tool of financial statement
analysis. Ratio analysis establishes the numerical or quantitative relationship between
two items/variables of financial statement so that the strength and weakness of a firm as
well as its historical performance and current financial position can be determined.
1.2 Objective of Study:-

1 ) To understand the liquidity, profitability, and efficiency position of

the company
2 ) To evaluate and analyze various facts of the financial performance
of the company
3 ) To determine the profitability, liquidity ratios.
1.3 SCOPE OF THE STUDY

1. Helpful in financial analysis.

2. Helpful in explaining financial health of the enterprise.
3. Helpful in future forecasting.
4. Helpful in comparing in inter-firm performance.

The study is based only on last 5 years record

The study is restricted to financial position of the company
with an attention given on ratio analysis mobilization.
Time given is short regarding whole analysis of a financial
