Snack
We will have a mid-morning snack time for those children who
choose to bring one. We are also offering a quick afternoon snack.

Please send nutritious foods like fruit, veggies, cheese, crackers,

raisin, etc. NO NUTS OR PEANUTS

The snack you choose should be something that your child can
manage independently and does not require utensils.

Please have your childs snack separate from their lunch, to avoid
confusion.

If you choose, you may send a water bottle daily filled with water
only. It must be a bottle with a sports top to avoid spilling. Please
avoid bottles larger than 16 oz. as they take up too much space on
our tables.
Lunch
If your child is bringing a lunch to school, it should be
packed separately from their snack in a bag or lunch box
with their name on the outside.

If buying lunch, please send money in an envelope with your

childs first and last name written on it. Each child has a
charge account number, and may choose to put money on
this account you can eliminate remembering to send lunch
money each day. Go to myschoolbucks.com on the Troy
website if you would like to add money to accounts
electronically. If your child accidentally comes without a
lunch, dont worry, they will be fed and a charge will be sent
home.
Organization
Please send any forms and money
(field trip permission slips, book orders,
etc.) in a labeled envelope.
Label all belongings BACKPACKS,
jackets, lunch boxes, black snow pants
in the winter!
Change in Routine
For safety reasons it is very
important that children must follow
their normal after school procedure
if they do not have a note. Please
call the office directly if plans
change during the school day. An
email to the classroom may not be
seen until after school hours.
Communication
Smart Cookie Home/School Folder - Your child
will need to be responsible for bringing his/her
folder to school and home everyday in his/her
backpack as well. In it will contain important
notes, and any homework for the night. Any notes
that you have for me or the office should be put
in this folder.
