    OEDIPUS and SANGKURIANG

    Differences of Oedipus and Sangkuriang:


    Sangkuriang never married with his mother but,
    Oedipus married his mother and have children
    Sangkuriang used indonesian language, while oedipus
    used Greek language.
    Sangkuriangs father is a dog, while Oedipus father is a
    normal person
    Sangkuriang influenced by politic condition in Sunda,
    while Oedipus influenced by politic condition in Greece
    Sangkuriang was raised by his mother when he was
    child, but Oedipus was thrown out to the forest when
    he was born

    Similiarities of Oedipus and Sangkuriang :

    Sangkuriang and Oedipus loves their mother


    Sangkuriang was a murderer of his father, Oedipus was
    a murderer of his father too.
    Sangkuriang and Oedipus didnt recognized their
    mother when they met again.
