OBJECT PRONOUNS

Object Pronouns are pronouns that receive the action of


the verb. They go after the verb or a preposition.
Example:
STRUCTURE :
SUBJECT + VERB + OBJECT PRONOUN.
Mary saw Peter and Marc.
She saw them.
Note that we can use she (subject pronoun) instead of Mary.
And them (object pronoun) instead of Peter and Marc.
EXAMPLES
a) We gave them the money. (Les dimos el dinero)
b) He knows me well. (l me conoce bien)
c) He teaches us Math. (l nos ensea matemticas)
d) You need to talk with them. (Necesitas hablar con ellos)
e) I understand you. (Te entiendo)
f) This book belongs to him. (Este libro le pertenece a l)
g) What is the matter with her today? (Qu es lo que le pasa
hoy?)
EXERCISES
Writes these sentences using subject and object pronoun
instead of the underlined words.
a) Jhon and I saw Peter yesterday. He bought John and me a cup of
coffee.

a) David and Mike are arriving today. Im meeting David and Mike at
the station.
