Classroom Rules 1. Be nice to self and others

2. Raise your hand and wait your turn when

trying to answer a question.

3. Be mindful of our supplies and don’t

waste them.
Positive 1.If everyone turns the assignment in on
time then give them more “Free Time”
Consequences
2. If they all get a 90 or above on a test they
(Rewards) will get a treat on that Friday.

3. Give them the opportunity to come eat

with the teacher.
Negative 1. Give them a bad report to let parents
know how bad they were that day.
Consequences 2. Don’t let them play during recess or
participate during free time.
3. Have them eat in the office.
Call and Response 1. Clap or snap in patterns and have the
students repeat it.
Techniques 2. Hands on top… Everybody stop! {Hands on
top of head}
3. L-I-S-...T-E-N
4. If you can hear me clap once (clap once) If
you can hear me clap twice (clap twice)
{Keep going till you get attention of all}
5. Macaroni and cheese…Everybody freeze!
 1. Say good job!
Ways to Praise a 2. Say great job !
3. Show class the students work.
Child 4. Make a letter home to tell parents how
good they did.
5. Give them a high five.
6. Give them a “Round of Applause”
7. “ Wow that was fast!”
8. “Keep up the good work!!”
9. Fist bump them.
10. “ I’m so proud of you”
