timeline:
♥ The baby fell asleep.

♥ At this moment, the baby continues to sleep.

Rule 1 :
All verbs of a single syllable with vowel in the middle of the
consonants, duplicate the last consonant and add “ING”

■ Sit - Sitting
■ Run - Running
■ Set - Setting
Verbs whose last syllable has a vowel in the
middle of two consonants ending in W - X the
first rule.
■ Draw - Drawing
■ Fix - Fixing
Rule 2 :
When the verb has two syllables and the last syllable is a vowel in
the middle of two consonants, the accent is marked in the last
syllable.
The last consonant is doubled and ING added
■ Begin - Beginning
■ Forget - Forgetting
■ Admit - Admitting
Rule 3:
When the verb ends in the letter E, the E is
deleted and ING is added.
■ Waste - Wasting
■ Write - Writing
■ Close - Closing
Rule 4:
Verbs that end in IE, are changed IE by Y, and are
added to add ING.
