Student 1 is considered LEP

and takes an ESL course. This


student received a 17% on the
pre-test. On CFA 3, they
received a 47% marking growth
of 30%. This is significant for
any student, but especially
speaks to the ways in which my
instruction is designed to meet
diverse needs and support all
students.
Student 2 was previously
considered LEP. This student
received a 29% on the pre-test.
On the CFA 3, they received a
73% marking growth of 44%.
When translated to the NCFE,
this students score would place
them in the proficient range.
They are very close to college
and career readiness (indicated
by 80%+)
Student 3 is considered
academically and intellectually
gifted. This student received a
38% on the pre-test. On CFA 3,
they received a 93% marking
growth of 55%. As a result of
instruction throughout the year,
this student is already
performing at a level that would
be considered college and
career ready.
