Phases of the Moon: The moon begins each cycle with a new moon. A lunar cycle takes
29.5 days to complete.
The moon and it’s affect on the tides
There are different categories of tides. These tides are called Spring Tide and Neap
Tide. Spring and Neap tides are about 20% higher or lower than average.
Tides:

Are the rise and tell of ocean levels caned by gravitational pull of the moon on Earth.

High Tide : Gravity of the moon makes water pull in direction of the moon at that
location

Low tide: Gravity of the moon pulls water away from the location on Earth.
LUNAR ECLIPSE

Moon is between the Sun and Earth and the moon blocks the light of the sun
SOLAR ECLIPSE
Solar Eclipse is when we cannot see the sun because it is blocked by the moon.
